As well as extensive CSR experience with many large corporates, we’ve worked for several high-profile charities and non-profit organisations.
Apopo is a charity that trains rats to save lives. In other words, it trains African Giant Pouched Rats to sniff out landmines and munitions and detect TB in saliva samples. As well as creating lines for their International Landmine Awareness Day campaign, we’ve also helped Apopo develop slogans for a range of limited edition T-Shirts. Why not buy one?
Milestones Trust supports people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and dementia. The charity was rebranding and asked us to help them rethink and articulate their brand purpose. The workshop we designed and ran revealed “the thousand little acts of kindness that happen across our organisation each day”. From this, we developed a brand proposition that serves to ‘galvanise the troops’ and encapsulate the work they do.
We’ve helped Milestones Trust who provide services for people with learning disabilities, For the RSPB we’ve written fundraising campaigns (through direct mail and print advertising) and the ‘Green DIY’ handbook. This encouraged people to consider the environment every day, at home, at work, in the garden and when travelling.
We’ve worked extensively with Macmillan Cancer Support on its ‘Miles for Macmillan’ campaign, including DM, case studies and a writing guidelines document to support groups and individuals promoting their own events affiliated with the charity.
Writing a 150-page website comes with its own challenges. Typically, gathering, collating, and wrangling a lot of words in the most efficient way possible. We helped non-profit organisation Derby Homes put in place the right editorial processes to make it happen smoothly, quickly and, of course, cost-effectively.
We’ve also worked on projects for:
- British Heart Foundation
- National Breast Cancer Foundation
- Notting Hill Housing Trust
- Peabody
- RSPCA
- Samaritans
- Southern Housing Group
- St Dunstan’s (now Blind Veterans UK)
- St John’s Hospital, Bath
- Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation
- Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute
